On Saturday, May 6, 2017, we will host a 3-mile family-friendly paddle trip and river celebration on the Chattahoochee as it flows through West Point, Georgia. The paddle will kick off at 5 p.m. (EST) at Hardley Creek Park and finish at the Downtown River Park in West Point where festivities will carry on from 6pm to 9pm.
River Celebration: Free & Open to the Public
In 2016, we brought our annual River Revival event to the Chattahoochee Valley — where the river forms the border between Georgia and Alabama. Over 80 paddlers and 250 guests turned out for a great paddle trip and celebration of the Chattahoochee River. In keeping with the spirit of the event and the growth of CRK’s presence in the Middle Chattahoochee region, we’ll be at it again in May 2017 with the 2nd Chattahoochee Valley River Revival!
From 6pm – 9pm, the Downtown River Park in West Point, GA will again be the site of our river celebration. Expect live music, food, and short films overlooking the banks of the Chattahoochee River. Bring lawn chairs and picnic blankets and enjoy an evening by the river with family and friends!
If you are interested in participating in the event, please contact Henry Jacobs at [email protected] or 706-882-3701 for more information about vendor and sponsorship opportunities.
