Este informe analiza el uso de infraestructura verde para reducir la escorrent\u00eda de aguas pluviales urbanas en Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n

La ciudad de Atlanta adopt\u00f3 una ordenanza que requiere que todo nuevo desarrollo y reurbanizaci\u00f3n gestione la primera pulgada de agua de lluvia que cae en un sitio que usa infraestructura verde en 2013. En los primeros seis a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de que se adopt\u00f3 la ordenanza, m\u00e1s de 4800 nuevas pr\u00e1cticas de infraestructura verde en Se permitieron sitios comerciales y residenciales en la ciudad. Desde entonces, la Divisi\u00f3n de Protecci\u00f3n Ambiental de Georgia ha adoptado requisitos de infraestructura verde similares a los de Atlanta para todas las dem\u00e1s ciudades y condados de Georgia que operan Sistemas Municipales de Alcantarillado Pluvial Separados.<\/p>\n

Utilizando la experiencia de la ciudad de Atlanta como ejemplo, este informe brinda una introducci\u00f3n a la infraestructura verde, describe el enfoque de la ciudad para implementar los nuevos requisitos y presenta tres desarrollos recientes como ejemplos de proyectos t\u00edpicos que cumplen con los nuevos requisitos.
