Una visi\u00f3n de alto nivel de nuestra misi\u00f3n es simple: garantizar suficiente agua limpia para las generaciones actuales y futuras. Para lograr esta misi\u00f3n, interactuamos con agencias gubernamentales, organizaciones sin fines de lucro asociadas, corporaciones, partes interesadas y miembros de la comunidad. Pero para ser realmente eficaz, he aprendido que debemos dar un paso atr\u00e1s peri\u00f3dicamente para reevaluar nuestros programas y preguntarnos si estamos incluyendo todos<\/em> miembros de la comunidad en nuestro objetivo de proteger el r\u00edo Chattahoochee.<\/p>\n

Durante los \u00faltimos 27 a\u00f1os, CRK ha trabajado en toda la cuenca de Chattahoochee desde Helen hasta Florida, comprometi\u00e9ndose y colaborando con una variedad de grupos con la justicia social en su misi\u00f3n. Las comunidades desatendidas se ven afectadas por la contaminaci\u00f3n a tasas mucho m\u00e1s altas, por lo que nuestros programas como Neighborhood Water Watch y nuestra iniciativa Trash-Free Chattahoochee siempre han priorizado abordar \u00e1reas de injusticia ambiental hist\u00f3rica. Recientemente lanzamos nuestro proyecto Out on the Hooch para garantizar que todos se sientan bienvenidos y valorados en el r\u00edo Chattahoochee y sus alrededores. Tambi\u00e9n estamos trabajando con Georgia Interfaith Power & Light para aumentar los esfuerzos de divulgaci\u00f3n en las comunidades religiosas e invitar a las congregaciones a experimentar nuestras aulas flotantes y programas de administraci\u00f3n.
