Chattahoochee Riverkeeper quiere restablecer el mayor espacio al aire libre del sur como uno que sea inclusivo y acogedor para todos. La nueva iniciativa Out on the Hooch de la organizaci\u00f3n se cre\u00f3 para dar la bienvenida a los miembros de la comunidad LGBTQ y establecer oportunidades para conectarse en celebraci\u00f3n de la v\u00eda fluvial que todos compartimos.<\/p>\n

\u201cOut on the Hooch reunir\u00e1 a nuestros amigos y aliados LGBTQ con historias personales sobre nuestra conexi\u00f3n con el r\u00edo Chattahoochee a trav\u00e9s de la recreaci\u00f3n\u201d, dijo Ashley Desensi, especialista en programas t\u00e9cnicos de CRK, miembro de la comunidad LGBTQ y una de las creadoras de Out on the Bebida alcoh\u00f3lica. \u201cQueremos demostrar que la cuenca del r\u00edo Chattahoochee tiene espacio para que todas las personas disfruten y que la comunidad LGBTQ se siente segura e incluida en la naturaleza\u201d.<\/p>\n

Out on the Hooch se lanz\u00f3 en junio de 2021 en honor al Mes del Orgullo. Se dio a conocer tanto en las redes sociales como en el festival anual ColGayPride en Columbus, Georgia. CRK est\u00e1 trabajando para asociarse con otras organizaciones sin fines de lucro LGBTQ en nuestra cuenca para promover esta iniciativa: compartir testimonios, organizar un stand en Atlanta Pride y otros eventos locales, y promover la inclusi\u00f3n dentro de la cuenca del r\u00edo Chattahoochee.<\/p>\n
