CRK ha identificado aproximadamente 100 centros de datos en la cuenca del r\u00edo Chattahoochee, principalmente en los condados de Cobb, Douglas y Fulton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entre los principales desaf\u00edos, los grandes centros de datos actuales requieren enormes cantidades de energ\u00eda y agua para los sistemas de refrigeraci\u00f3n que evitan el sobrecalentamiento de sus equipos inform\u00e1ticos. Sin embargo, desconocemos con certeza la cantidad exacta de energ\u00eda y agua necesarias, ya que ni los operadores de centros de datos ni los proveedores de energ\u00eda y agua est\u00e1n obligados a informar sobre la demanda o el consumo. Se prev\u00e9n alteraciones del terreno e impactos de las aguas pluviales (erosi\u00f3n del suelo y sedimentaci\u00f3n en los arroyos) durante las fases de construcci\u00f3n y operaci\u00f3n.
