Volunteers must provide their own kayak\/canoe, paddle and coast guard approved noninflatable PFD, water and lunch\/snacks. Boats can be rented through Chattahoochee Outdoors and the link above. Additional details will be provided in your confirmation email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For planning purposes, we will meet at the park at 8am and should conclude by 12pm. Plan to bring a lunch\/snacks for after the trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS<br>All participants must be able to swim efficiently. All participants must be able to get in and out of a kayak easily (i.e. those with knee or back injuries may have difficulty). Paddling uses your core muscles, arms, and shoulders. Anyone with injuries in these areas may have difficulty. Please consult your physician if you are concerned about participating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AGE REQUIREMENTS<br>If paddling solo, paddlers must be at least 15 years old.
