  • The tournament will start Sunday, October 1 and end Friday, November 10
  • Catches must be recorded within the tournament boundary from Buford Dam to the end of trout water
  • Wadefishing and fishing from watercraft are permissible
  • We will be awarding 4 weekly prizes for the longest trout the weeks of:

    • 10/9 – 10/15
    • 10/16 – 10/22
    • 10/23 – 10/29
    • 10/30 – 11/5
  • Head over to the website, click on “Quality Catch & Sweet Release Tournament”, register & log your fish
    • This new technology allows you to log your catch with GPS coordinates that will remain confidential to other tournament participants.  Don’t forget that your tournament marker MUST be in your photo!
  • Follow @sweetwaterbrew and @orvisatlanta on Instagram to receive updates on the weekly and grand prize winners

Here are a few things you should know about the tournament website:

  • To measure your fish, place the nose of your catch at the bend of the ruler and do your best to take a photo of the entire fish – all fish must be released and handled properly (hence the name Sweet Release)
  • Save your trip when you’re done fishing and your catches will be logged through the website.
  • The grand prize winner of the co-branded H2 rod will be announced November 11 via the @orvisatlanta Instagram page

Good luck and thanks for supporting Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and our efforts to ensure a forever clean and sustainable Chattahoochee
