Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is pleased to host this paddle cleanup in partnership with the City of Chattahoochee Hills, y Georgia DNR and Wildlife Resources Division. We will be paddling from the Highway 166 DNR Boat Ramp to Campbellton Park Boat Ramp in south Fulton near Chattahoochee Hills. This five-mile section of river is mostly slow moving with a few moderate riffles.
Specific trip details, including the address of where we’ll be meeting, will be emailed to you a few days prior to the trip date. Volunteers must provide their own kayak or canoe, paddling gear, water and lunch/snacks. CRK can provide a few sit-on-top kayaks as they are available. Additional details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We will meet at the put-in at 8 a.m., unload boats, then drive to the take-out. A shuttle van will return us to the put-in. Estimated time to paddle is 9 am and end between 1:00 and 2:00pm. Plan to bring a lunch/snacks for after the trip as there are no stopping points in this section.
