Paddle Trip Below Lake Eufaula

In partnership with Friends of Lake Eufaula, we’re hosting an opportunity to paddle below Lake Eufaula from Abbie Creek to Omussee Creek Park on Saturday, May 17th.

This 10-mile section has very moderate flows and some shoals to navigate. Suitable for beginner paddlers that know basic paddling strokes.

Included in your $30 registration fee: dinner Friday night (for those who camp overnight), continental breakfast Saturday morning, and the shuttle fee. Attendees must bring their own lunch and drinks for Saturday.

Optional camping is offered Friday and/or Saturday night at either Omussee Creek Park (our takeout location) or the nearby Family Time Campground. Attendees must bring their own camping gear at Omussee Creek Park but restrooms and running water will be available. Family Time Campground has cabins and RV’s for rent and also offers tent camping. For those camping, plan to arrive no earlier than 3pm and sometime before dark so you can set up camp.

Attendees camping Saturday night must provide their own dinner and breakfast for Sunday morning.
