Join us for the 31st Annual Help the Hooch, a community-wide cleanup in Columbus and the surrounding region!

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is leading a cleanup site at Cooper Creek Park, which is also the home of our Floating Wetland Trash Trap. The event takes place on Saturday, October 18 from 8:30am – 11:30am.

Following the cleanup, Keep Columbus Beautiful is hosting a community event with lunch provided.

Along with our cleanup site, there will be other groups cleaning up locations throughout Columbus, Phenix City, Fort Benning, and Harris County. Follow this link to learn more about the event and the organizer, Keep Columbus Beautiful.

Just 20 spots are available for the CRK cleanup team, save your spot today! Gloves and cleanup supplies provided.

This registration is for you only (and your children if applicable). Everyone must register individually.

YOUTH PARTICIPATION: Youth between the ages of 10 (minimum age) and 16 must have a Parent/Guardian onsite under their supervision the duration of the cleanup. No drop-offs are permitted.

Thank you for volunteering! Questions? Email Alan Rothschild, Columbus Outreach Manager, at arothschild@chattahoochee.org
