Nos reuniremos en Holiday Campground para registrarnos a las 8:30 am, luego los voluntarios de CRK abordarán el salón de clases flotante de West Point Lake y tomarán un paseo en bote a uno de los parques en el lago que necesitan más ayuda. Espere pasar dos horas recolectando basura de la orilla del lago antes de regresar al Holiday Campground, donde el Cuerpo proporcionará el almuerzo.
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is hosting this cleanup in partnership with the Mayor’s Division of LGBTQ Affairs and the Human Rights Campaign to continue our efforts toward a Trash-Free Chattahoochee on Saturday, October 1 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Root Local are teaming up to host this 11-mile paddle trip through a part of the river not accessible to most. Join us as we experience firsthand efforts to improve water quality in the river downstream of Atlanta as we paddle from Riverview Landing in Smyrna to the Highway 166 Bridge off Campbellton Road. The scenic trip will also include a stop at Buzzard Roost for lunch and a beach cleanup.
In recognition of Veteran’s Day, join us for a community cleanup at Cooper Creek in Columbus hosted by Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and Paws Humane Society and proudly sponsored by DaCosta Insurance Services and Humana. Following the cleanup, volunteers will also have the opportunity to interact with people-friendly pets from Paws!
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper and the Lake Lanier Association are teaming up to host this land-based cleanup on January 7th near Don Carter State Park. Specific directions will be sent to those registered. The cleanup will begin promptly at 9:00AM and will wrap up around 12:00PM.
