Join Chattahoochee Riverkeeper on the water in Helen, Georgia for a day of fly fishing, education, and celebration of our waterways!

The Becca Sue Klein All Kids Fish program seeks to ignite a passion for fly fishing and conservation among young people through hands-on educational retreats. Each retreat takes place over a full day in which children jump feet-first into the captivating world of fly fishing. Our October event is for girls from the ages of 10 to 18. Through workshops with experienced mentors, kids learn invaluable skills such as assembling and casting a fly rod, mastering essential knots, and how to properly use fishing gear. They also receive guidance on safe fish handling and the importance of conservation. Understanding the significance of a healthy river ecosystem and how it sustains life is a fundamental aspect of the program.
