Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is pleased to host this cleanup in partnership with the Atlanta Rugby Foundation, Inc. to continue our efforts toward a Trash-Free Chattahoochee on Saturday, Oct 12 from 9am to 12pm. We will be cleaning a new section on Utoy Creek.
The exact address will be provided to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. Why? Because rain events move the trash and we want to pick a location that needs our attention the most. Gloves and cleanup supplies provided.
Will I get dirty and potentially wet? YES!
Whether land based or paddling, all our cleanups involve getting in or around the river or a tributary – this is where the trash is. But there are opportunities to stay dry. Either way, we promise you’ll have fun!
