Paddle Cleanup Below Atlanta

July 11 @ 7:30 am - 2:00 pm

VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION OPEN

Event Details

Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is excited to host this paddle cleanup with Trust for Public Land and City of Chattahoochee Hills as part of our Trash-Free Chattahoochee Initiative.

We will be paddling from the Highway 166 DNR Boat Ramp to the Campbellton Park Boat Ramp in South Fulton near Chattahoochee Hills. This 5-mile section of river is mostly slow moving with a few moderate riffles based on flows.

Specific trip details will be emailed to you the week prior to the trip date. Volunteers must provide their own kayak/canoe, paddle and coast guard approved noninflatable PFD, water and lunch/snacks. CRK has a limited number of sit-on-top kayaks to borrow and those can be reserved during registration as supplies last. Additional details will be provided in your confirmation email.
