Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is pleased to host this cleanup in partnership with the City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation and Park Pride as part of Love Your Park month.
This cleanup will be held at Westside Park to continue our efforts toward a Trash-Free Chattahoochee on Saturday, Feb 28, from 9am to 12pm. Registration is required and details will be sent to registered volunteers. Gloves and cleanup supplies provided.
This registration is for you only (and your children if applicable). Everyone must register individually. Thank you for volunteering!
Will I get dirty and potentially wet? YES!
Whether land based or paddling, all our cleanups involve getting in or around the river or a tributary – this is where the trash is. But there are opportunities to stay dry. Either way, we promise you’ll have fun!
YOUTH PARTICIPATION: Youth between the ages of 10 (minimum age) and 16 must have a Parent/Guardian onsite under their supervision the duration of the cleanup. No drop-offs are permitted.
