West Point Lake Floating Concert

Join CRK aboard the West Point Lake Floating Classroom for an evening concert cruise with New Orleans singer-songwriter Maggie Koerner and LaGrange musician Nick Mayfield. Proceeds will benefit the West Point Lake Floating Classroom scholarship program.

Blending folk, country and indie rock, Maggie Koerner has released four albums and co-written songs with Jessica Simpson, David Shaw (The Revivalists), Suzannah Powell (Boyfriend) and others. She’s also opened for Band of Horses, The Head & The Heart and Shakey Graves and performed with Galactic and Gov’t Mule. 

The multi-instrumentalist/singer Nick Mayfield will start the evening off aboard the 40-foot boat that normally cruises the lake with students for environmental education field trips. A former instructor aboard the boat himself, Nick is well-known in the community for his music and the beer he brews at Wild Leap.
