Join Chattahoochee Riverkeeper for World Cleanup Day on Saturday, September 20 from 9am to 12pm! Help us work towards our goal of a Trash-Free Chattahoochee.
The event will be ITP in Atlanta and the exact address will be provided to registered volunteers a few days prior to the event. Why? Because rain events move the trash and we want to pick a location that needs our attention the most. Gloves and cleanup supplies provided.
Will I get dirty and potentially wet? YES!
Whether land based or paddling, all our cleanups involve getting in or around the river or a tributary – this is where the trash is. But there are opportunities to stay dry. Either way, we promise you’ll have fun!
YOUTH PARTICIPATION: Youth between the ages of 10 (minimum age) and 16 must have a Parent/Guardian onsite under their supervision the duration of the cleanup. No drop-offs are permitted.
