Chattahoochee Riverkeeper is pleased to host this cleanup in partnership with the City of Atlanta Department of Parks & Recreation and Park Pride as part of Love Your Park month.
This cleanup will be held at Melvin Park on Saturday, February 15, from 9am to 12pm. Registration required – details will be sent to registered volunteers. Gloves and cleanup supplies provided.
Will I get dirty and potentially wet? YES!
Whether land based or paddling, all our cleanups involve getting in or around the river or a tributary – this is where the trash is. But there are opportunities to stay dry. Either way, we promise you’ll have fun!
