On April 16, join CRK and friends at the Columbus Public Library for a free screening of “Saving the Chattahoochee: The Story of the Women Who Defended the River.” The documentary film by Hal Jacobs takes a more personal look at CRK’s Founding Riverkeeper Sally Bethea and how she teamed up with Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin in the early 1990s to change the course of the river’s future for the better.
Following the film, enjoy a Q&A with Sally Bethea, Hannah Palmer (Finding the Flint), Ashley Desensi (CRK), Hal Jacobs (director), and Troy Keller (Columbus State University).
