Headwaters River Rendezvous

Come out with friends, family, or just yourself to collect water samples and track pollution around Lake Lanier. We’ll provide instructions on how and where to collect your water samples and split up to collect water samples. After you’ve visited your site, drop off your sample at our starting point and enjoy a complimentary lunch while our staff and interns analyze your water samples.  

No previous monitoring experience is necessary! Most sample sites are accessible by a short drive and/or walk from our starting point, but volunteers will need to be comfortable navigating to and accessing their streamside sample sites. This event will take place rain or shine, so plan on dressing accordingly.
