Partnerships between community volunteers, non-government organizations, and government agencies are the key to impactful community science programs.
Chattahoochee Riverkeeper will join National Park Service to highlight three amazing partner-focused programs: National Parks Service’s heavily utilized BacteriALERT system, now celebrating its 20th year; the International Data Portal SWIM GUIDE; and CRK’s innovative Neighborhood Water Watch, a volunteer water monitoring program who’s 12-year history has delivered some incredible results including 140+ contamination sources identified, tracked down and stopped!
