Stream Restoration Planting with LaGrange College

In collaboration with LaGrange College, we led a small-scale stream restoration on Park Creek, a tributary to the Chattahoochee River. LaGrange College students joined CRK staff and volunteers from the LaGrange Sierra Club to plant nearly 1,000 native, pollinator-friendly grasses and shrubs along a 600-foot section of the creek as it flows through the college campus. As the vegetation takes root, they will help address erosion issues in this important waterway.
