CRK 30: Fall Colors on the Middle Chattahoochee

October 26 @ 8:00 am -
October 27 @ 5:00 pm

Event Details

We’re celebrating 30 years of keeping watch over our waters by hosting three special paddle outings to highlight some of our favorite stretches of the Chattahoochee River and its tributaries!

We’ll wrap up the series with this two-day paddle taking us from McIntosh Reserve Park (Whitesburg, GA/Carroll County) to Riverside Park in Franklin, GA, covering roughly 21 miles.

Friday night is optional camping at McIntosh Reserve with dinner included. On Saturday morning, we’ll host a quick continental breakfast before we take our vehicles to Franklin’s Riverside Park and then shuttle back to McIntosh to begin our journey. On Saturday afternoon we’ll arrive at our private destination, set up camp, and enjoy dinner by the river. Sunday morning we’ll enjoy a continental breakfast then pack up camp and paddle the remaining miles to Franklin. Your registration fee includes dinner on Friday and Saturday night, continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning, and shuttle fees.
